An actuary is the individual who predicts the risk
involved in an insurance transaction, which eventually sets
the cost of the insurance to the consumer. It's a job

Claims Adjuster
The purpose of a claims adjuster is to estimate the extent
of damage/loss regarding an insurance claim. The
adjuster will often arrange repairs and seek to find cost
effective means to cover the damage for the insurance company
that is both fair for the company and for the consumer.
Underwriter
An underwriter evaluates the risk of each individual potential
customer to determine whether or not the company should issue
insurance to the applicant. Good ability to read
statistical analysis and attention to detail are good
abilities to have in this career.
